HEMA Haul

Words can not express how happy I am that a HEMA store has opened in the UK. Not only that, but it's in Bromley which is easily accessible and that fills me with as much happiness as a room without a roof. Back in the day when I used to have summer trips to Holland, I used to love going into HEMA so much! It's a store that does literally everything and everything is always so pretty!

I decided beforehand that I would control myself and wouldn't go crazy when I got there. I had to have so much restraint!!!! I really did want everything. Their stationery is just so so nice and I wanted to buy it all! Thankfully I managed to not put everything in my basket, but I did still come out with quite a lot of things.

Are you just exploding with how pretty it is?! And it's all good value for money too. I got all these goodies and a couple of extra things for less than £20. It's unheard of really! I will definitely be going back after the next pay day...maybe even before!

Scrapbook Haul...again

Today I went shopping with my mum and we went to Ikea and I told my friend not to let me buy anything. That is the hardest thing in the world to not do! I wanted EVERYTHING!! I kept picking stuff up and then putting it down and trying to exercise some self restraint. Then we go to this new area where they do gift wrapping and cards and notebooks and things, and all of my restraint flew away.

Just look at how cool all this stuff is though!! And I'm going to use it all, so it's not like I've wasted any money! As you can see, I'm still trying to properly justify buying all the stuff.

Scrapbooking Supplies: Grab Box

I've lately been obsessed with browsing the scrapbooking tag on Instagram (as well as other things, i.e filofax, studio calicio, letterpress). While on there I came across some supplies for sale in the UK which is quite rare! A lot of the stuff are all for sale in the US. Cat from Decision Inspired has some grab boxes for sale. They were things she didn't use any more, they all looked really pretty so I decided to buy one!

I was so amazed, I felt like a kid at Christmas! There were so many cool things in it. My favourite has to hands down be the POW Glitter Paper. There's a chance I might not even use it because it's too cool. I might just stick it up in the sun so I can stare at the prettiness all day.

So pretty!! I can't wait to get to using some of the things!!

Scrapbooking Supplies

I recently found lots of lovely things to use for my scrapbook while trying to buy a school bag for my sister. Before I decided for definite that I wanted to scrapbook, I spent many nights looking at Amy Tangerine and other fabulous scrapbook blogs. The products that they used came from American Crafts, but we don't really get any supplies as cool as that here in the UK. I was amazed by the Project Life cards and have never seen anything like that.

I was so pleasantly surprised to find this selection of stuff at TKMaxx, and will now be making regular trips there to see if they have any new additions!

I think my favourite thing is all the pretty papers, but I'm just as excited about all the other stuff as well. I've done 2 pages in my scrapbook and it is more time consuming than I originally thought.
