Filofax Pretties: Coloured Notes

Hello all! Apologies for being a bit neglectful of my blog. It's just been a very busy time. I hope to be back in full effect after Christmas. My mind is buzzing with ideas for so many things! I've had a moment to sit down so I decided to make this free printable for you guys to enjoy. Just click the links below to download. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas time!

SoJoey Loves: Ladybird Likes

You guys know that I get excited by mail that isn't a bill or a flyer. I get excited by letters from friends and things I've bought for myself. This here package is something I bought for myself so I was expecting it to just be the thing I ordered (the amazingly sparkly wooden bow tie). Instead, I found it filled with all these excellently awesome things. It felt so personal and I'm not sure if it's from a friend or just something I bought! I love it all and this is why it's so good to shop small. The experience is so much better than buying from a big store. It feels like this is specially for you, like no one else matters.

Letterpress

At Renegade Craft Fair I also paid to do something that I've been wanting to do forever. If you know me, you'll know that I have a big fondness for all things letterpress and typography. I don't know how many times I buy letterpress cards and spend a lot of time staring at them and stroking them. I just want to letterpress everything!

Prickle Press was holding mini workshops/tasters so you had the chance to print using an 8x5 Adana Letterpress. It was literally a dream come true. I've never held the letters before and it was just such a great experience. I got Josie to document the process so I could treasure it forever!

I also now have a Prickle Press 2015 Letterpress Calendar on the way and I cannot wait!

Renegade Craft Fair

Last weekend I had the best time at Renegade Craft Fair. It was filled with such amazing things made by some of the most talented people I've recently come across. It's literally the perfect place to buy Christmas presents and if I wasn't poor at the time, I would definitely have bought so many things. Here's me in my new glasses, on the train to Shoreditch which is where it was held.

Due to the fact that I had no money to spend, I took business cards from everyone I loved which basically turned out to be the entire fair! This is my stack! Stacks on stacks on stacks.
I've slowly been going through them and checking out stores and favouriting the things I want so I can buy them when I do have money!

I couldn't not buy these. They're pandas and they're cute. Even poorer than I was, I still needed to have them. I couldn't stop thinking about them!

So at the end of the day I had two pairs of really cute earrings because I also bought these from Josie Makes and wore them through the day!

You should definitely check out Josie's Shop for cute handmade jewellery that makes excellent Christmas Presents .

Later in the week I'll do a post with all my favourites from Renegade!

Filofax Pretties: Covers and Feedback

While I've not been here blogging, I've been sewing lots of orders of my Filofax covers. The feedback I've been getting has been amazing and I didn't think it was possible for people to love my products as much as I do.

This has been my favourite one that I've recently made. I love it because the fabric is amazing and it matches my Domino Patent sooo well!  I was very tempted to keep it in there, but it had to go away to it's new home.

Here are a few others that I've made recently.

At the moment I'm just getting out the orders that I already have. I won't be making any over the Christmas period because I don't want things getting lost in the postal rush. After Christmas I'll be coming out with new fabrics and new products. I hope you fabulous people will continue to support me. I hope that 2015 will be filled with lots of success for us all. Without you guys and without my parents, who knows where I would be!

Your feedback means so much to me and I've had such lovely feedback. It's really given me a confidence boost in my abilities and maybe that's why the cases I've made recently have been the best ones I've ever made.

Aim High from Josie Makes

If you've been on my blog for a while, you'll know my friend Josie who makes wonderful embroidered jewellery and other things at Josie Makes! She recently had a giveaway which I luckily won!

This was my beautiful prize.

It's going to feature proudly on my hoop wall, when I get around to finally redecorating my room!

Filofax Pretties: Weeks 48 & 49

Filofax weeks seem to have taken a bit of a back burner. I've literally been busy all the time....although I do procrastinate a lot! I'm trying not to do that any more. I've had a very productive morning so far I'll have you know! So, here is this week and two weeks before!
